Migration from Lovable Cloud to Supabase

If you launched quickly with Lovable but now need more control and scalability, I can help you migrate safely.

Why migrate

  • Your database lives on Lovable infrastructure, not on your own stack
  • If pricing or terms change, you have no immediate fallback
  • Scaling depends on their plan, not on your technical decisions
  • Advanced integrations are difficult or impossible inside that environment

After migration

  • Real PostgreSQL in your Supabase account, your data is yours
  • Own auth, storage and functions without third-party lock-in
  • Predictable and scalable cost based on real usage

How it works

  1. 1

    Technical audit

Project review: data schema, business logic and dependencies. You receive a risk report and action plan.

  2. 2

    Data migration

Export, cleanup and import into Supabase with the right schema. Relations, types and constraints reviewed.

  3. 3

    Supabase setup

Setup of auth, RLS, storage and edge functions based on project needs.

  4. 4

    Frontend adaptation

API calls are updated to point to Supabase without changing your UI.

  5. 5

    Validation and documentation

End-to-end validation and delivery of technical documentation for the new stack.

1,500 - 4,000 EUR depending on complexity

Delivery in 1-3 weeks Β· Start with a no-commitment audit

FAQ

Frequently asked questions before we start

How long does a website project take?

It depends on the type of project. A WordPress showcase website can be online in 3-5 business days if you provide the content from the start. A Next.js project usually takes 1 to 2 weeks. Custom projects have timelines we define together during the analysis phase. The biggest source of delay is almost always waiting for client content.

Do you work with non-technical clients?

Yes. Most of my clients are not technical. My job is to translate what you need into something that works, without requiring you to understand the internal implementation. I explain decisions in clear language and deliver a result you can manage on your own if needed.

Do you only build new projects?

No. I also work on existing projects: improving your current website, migrating platforms, adding features, reducing technical debt, or simply fixing what is broken. If you are not sure your case fits, message me and I will tell you without obligation.

What do I need to prepare before we start?

For a showcase website, the essentials are: main page copy, your logo if you have one, and visual references of websites you like. It does not need to be perfect; we can work with drafts and refine during the process. For more complex projects, we run a prior analysis session to define scope.

Can I request changes after the website is delivered?

Yes, but it depends on the type of change. During the project, review rounds are included. After delivery, minor changes are covered if you have a maintenance plan. Otherwise, they are quoted separately. What I never do is add new functionality without agreeing cost first; it is the healthiest way to work for both sides.

WordPress or Next.js - how do I know which one I need?

Simple rule: if you want to edit the site yourself (text, photos, blog posts), WordPress is the right option. If technical performance, advanced SEO or scalability are the priority, and you do not need to edit without a developer, Next.js gives better results. There is also a short questionnaire on the website, or we can discuss it directly.

What if I already have a website and want to improve it?

That is one of the services I do most. Before changing anything, I run a technical audit to understand what exists, what is missing and what is broken. Then you can decide between targeted improvements or a full rebuild. The audit cost (150-300 EUR) is deducted if you move forward with the project.

Do you work only with clients in France and Spain?

I work remotely with clients worldwide. I communicate in Spanish, French and English. The process is fully online: follow-up calls or video calls, deliveries by email, and shared tools for project access. Time zones have never been a problem.

What exactly is included in maintenance?

The basic plan includes WordPress core, plugin and theme updates, weekly backups, downtime monitoring and email support. Higher plans add monthly hours for specific changes. What is never included in maintenance without prior agreement: redesigns, new features or migrations. If any of that is needed, I provide a separate quote.
